The first step to improving quality is knowing how to manufacture brass CNC machining parts. Here are seven ways to improve your quality control
1. Get a good tooling design. A good tooling design is one that allows you to produce consistent parts at high speeds, with little room for error in the cutting process or the finishing process. It should also be easy to maintain and repair, so that it lasts longer and costs less over time
2. Use a good material selection system. The best way to select materials for a CNC machine is by using a material library program, such as Material Master Pro or Material Master Pro X (see Resources). These programs will give you information about which materials are available and their properties, including hardness, density, and color variations between batches of brass cut from the same ingot (see Resources). They will also tell you how much each material costs per pound and what percentage of each material is needed for each part being made on your machine (see Resources)
