If you're looking for a relaxed way to spin brass onto your CNC machine, then this blog post is for you. Here are some tips and tricks that should help you achieve that goal
Step 1: Find a good space
Step 2: Set up your spindle
Step 3: Put on your vise chuck
Step 4: Put the brass in the vise chuck then tighten it down until it's tight enough to hold without slipping, but not so tight that it prevents you from lifting up and out of the machine. You want to leave just enough room so that when you turn on your machine and it starts spinning, there's enough room between the brass and the walls of the vise chuck so that it doesn't get stuck inside of there when you lift up with your hand or other tool, but not so much room that you can't get a good grip on it either way because there's not enough friction between it and the walls of the vise chuck. If there isn't enough friction against them then eventually when you start spinning brass onto your CNC machine
