All aluminum cnc machine desktop

Do you want to build a stainless steel desktop for your Mac? Well, you're in luck as I will tell you how to turn an old aluminum desk into a Mac-ready desktop

For this project, I used an old aluminum desk that was in good condition. The desk had some minor scratches on it and some dings, but overall it looked great. The only problem was that it didn't have a desktop on it

I started by removing all of the drawers from the desk so that there would be enough room for my new desktop. I then removed the top piece of wood from the desk which had 4 bolts holding it on (pictured below). This allowed me to access any screws or staples holding down the top piece of wood and also gave me access to remove the hardware from underneath

Once I had everything removed from inside my old aluminum computer desk, I decided to make a new one out of stainless steel instead of aluminum because stainless steel is more resistant to corrosion than aluminum and can last longer than aluminum as well!
