CNC stands for Computer Numerical Control. It's a method of controlling the movement of a machine by computer. The CNC is actually a really simple idea: you have an input board that accepts inputs from your mouse or other input devices and then sends those commands to your motors; and then you have another set of outputs that you can send the commands to move your machine around
The only problem is that it's not always easy to find parts for this type of project, so we'll be making ours out of cardboard (and lots of glue).
