If you are interested in building a home CNC machine, you may have read some of the countless articles online about how to build a home CNC machine. After having tried to research and build my own, I decided to publish this article on my blog so that others may benefit from my experience

This is a guide on how to build a home CNC machine. It's not an in-depth guide of how to build a CNC machine, but it will give you an idea of what can be done with a small budget and some free time

I'll be using an Arduino UNO as my controller, but any Arduino/Raspberry Pi/Intel Edison based controller can easily be used as well.

Aluminum is one of the most common metal materials to produce components for various fields, almost all fields. Also, CNC aluminum machining is a very common process for aluminum parts.

Aluminum is very easy for machining process because the material is soft and shaping keeper, it is suitable for many different production facilities, such as machining, extrusion, stamp, casting, etc.

With its good thermal conductivity and excellent shaping feature, temperature devices and electricity device and other industries are commonly using aluminum alloy. Aluminum alloy has many different materials codes to support wider demands.
