We're big fans of making our own project boxes (one of these days we'll have a gallery of them online), but sometimes it's nice to make something from scratch that fits your style. If you're crafting out of wood, aluminum or other materials, this tombstone cnc will do well for you
You can add whatever detail you want to the tombstone 〞 there are plenty of options for engraving and painting. The CNC is made using a wood lathe, though we should note that it's not as quick as we'd like. You'll probably want to use a bigger jig with each cut to make it a bit quicker
The tombstone itself is made by cutting off a piece of wood and then bending it up into an arch shape. We used an iron bar to do this 〞 though if you have access to a metal cutting tool like this one, we think it's even better because the wood won't get damaged by metal tools (unless they start hitting sharp edges).
