This is a 10-24 tap cnc drill size list that you'll discover useful while drilling your steel
The first thing to consider is the diameter of the hole you're making. If you want to drill a hole in your steel, you'll need to know how wide it is and what size drill bit you'll need to use. The most common are 1/8", 3/16", 5/32", 7/32" and 1/4". These are all fractional sizes, so they will refer to a fraction of an inch
For example, if you want to drill a 1/8" hole, then you would just use a 1/8" drill bit. If you want to drill a 3/16" hole, then you'd use a 3/16" bit. And so on down the line until all your holes are perfect!
