When you think of all the different metals used for centuries in some form of technology, you*d think that the metal used for printing presses would stand out above all others. But you*d be wrong. In fact, some readers may even argue that gold 〞 or even silver or bronze 〞 might have been better choices. Today I*d like to tell you about one metal which makes writing books possible in the first place: Gutenberg metal (nicknamed ※G-metal§), a steel alloy developed by an inventor named Johannes Gutenberg who invented movable type printing (more on this later#)
The history behind this alloy is fascinating and has been told many times before. However, what I want to do today is try to tell it again but from a different perspective: from a buyer*s point of view.
