Metalworking is probably one of the world's oldest forms of technology. I've talked a lot about it being old school in this blog, and I believe it's fitting that we discuss a custom metalworking history now
It's important to note that industrialization didn't just happen in the 20th century. Industrialization has been going on since the beginning of time. One of the earliest known examples was with the Egyptians who were building pyramids thousands of years ago. However, it wasn't until the Industrial Revolution that we got our first glimpse into how modern machines and processes could be used to create things. This is when we started seeing factories popping up all over the place as well as people becoming more incorporated into society and working in factories every day instead of only during specific times like they did before
The invention of steam engines gave us more power than ever before, which helped speed up production considerably (and also help create pollution). This allowed for mass production which lead to mass consumption which lead to mass production and so on and so forth until now where we're still using some of these same methods but at a much higher level than ever before...
