Forging a sword is one of the most difficult things to do. It requires a lot of patience and skill. I've seen many fantasy movies, anime, manga and novels. So much that I had to become a blacksmith in order to forge swords! This will be the first post on my blog describing the forging process and the things that are involved. My goal is not just to make and sell some generic swords but also show you how it's done
The first step is to find some raw materials such as steel, iron or even bronze. You can find these materials in most hardware stores or even online at sites like Amazon or eBay. The next step is to heat up your material until it reaches it's melting point (around 1800 degrees Celsius). Once this happens you'll have to let it cool down slowly by putting it in a bucket or something similar before taking it out again when it has cooled down completely. If you're using steel then you'll have to take care of all the different types of metal separately because each type requires different temperatures for different types of metal so there are many factors involved when doing this process properly.
