Ford has announced plans to add an all-new, high-performance version of the Edge to its line-up. Dubbed the 2022 Ford Edge, this SUV will be available in Frost Green Metallic Only

The new Edge is expected to be based on the same platform as the current model and will feature a 252 horsepower 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine mated to either a six-speed automatic transmission or a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox. The powertrain should be able to achieve 0-60 mph acceleration in around 5 seconds and top out at about 130 mph on the highway

The SUV will also feature an all new interior with a dual screen digital instrument panel and navigation system allowing drivers to access their GPS data at all times as well as access entertainment features like Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
