The University at Buffalo's Metals Processing Center (MPC) has a long history in metal forging, dating back to its founding in 1865. Today, the MPC is one of the world's leading metal processing research centers and manufactures a wide range of metal products and components for use in a variety of applications
The MPC is also home to a state-of-the-art forging lab that produces custom forgings for various customers across the globe. The foundry is capable of producing forging dies for machining operations, as well as many other varieties of steel and aluminum parts that require customization or creative solutions.
