If you have any interest at all in the craft of blacksmithing, it's time to take a look at how modern day metals are being used as forgeable fuel
What is forgeable fuel? The term refers to materials that can be used for heating metal and melting down scrap metal. These materials include coal, wood, etc., but they also can include petroleum-based products, like those found in gas stations and cars
The most common way to use forgeable fuel is by using a fire pit or fire pit furnace. These fires are designed to make use of the heat that comes off of the coal or other materials being burned so that it can be transferred into the metal being worked with. It's this transfer of heat that makes this type of forge possible
There are different ways that forgeable fuels can be used when working with metals, depending on what type of metal you're working with and what type of material you're using as your forgeable fuel source.
