CNC Machining is a term I feel comfortable with because it lets your mind think about things that would be otherwise impossible for you to understand. Or at the very least, difficult to understand and comprehend. This is one of the reasons why I've incorporated it into my blog's name and will continue using it from here on out
I've had a lot of experience with CNC Machining, mostly because I'm a woodworker and have been working with wood since I was in high school. And while I do have some experience with CNC machines, they are not exactly my area of expertise. But that doesn't mean that I can't talk about them
Another reason why I like using cnc machining terms is because they allow me to use words that are more commonly known within the industry than if I were to use something like "CNC" or "CAM". Most people who work in manufacturing know what those terms mean; however, many people outside of the industry may not be familiar with them and therefore might not know what they're talking about when they hear them being used during a conversation.
