Let*s explore how I created the custom surface. Maybe it would interest you
I started by creating a square version of my logo. For this I used Adobe Illustrator and made a simple shape with an elliptical center and rounded corners
Then I used Photoshop to alter the design, making it more interesting and adding depth to it by zooming in on certain parts of the image
I then exported the image as a PSD file that could be opened in Illustrator for further editing
For this part I wanted to create some sort of gradient effect for this layer so that it would look like water was flowing through my logo when printed at small sizes (such as stickers). To achieve this effect I used a combination of Photoshop*s Liquify Tool and Free Transform Tool
My final step was to export this image as an SVG file that could be imported into InDesign where I used Photoshop again to add some kind of gradient effect to it before finally exporting it as an EPS file for printing.
