Here's part 6 in the series, where I show you how to build a home made cnc mill. This is not your typical style of mill and some parts are hand made so it will take some time and effort. But it was worth it when I got my first finished product out of it
I am going to show you how to set up a basic mill and then build on from there. This is an ongoing project that will continue to grow as I learn more about building machines and get better at making things
We'll start off with a very simple setup using aluminum extrusions for the base structure. These can be purchased from companies like McMaster Carr or Harbor Freight Tools in various sizes. We'll also use white glue as our primary adhesive because of its high strength-to-weight ratio, but you could use any other kind of glue if preferred.
