Position Summary: The Senior Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development and implementation of toolpaths and coordinate fabrication of plastic parts for a variety of applications. The candidate will provide technical support to manufacturing staff in the shop area via hand tools, press brake and CNC machine tools. This position will also be responsible for performing all engineering duties associated with the design and development of injection molded components including: component design, part planning, production scheduling, shop floor supervision and quality assurance

Responsibilities

Developing new toolpaths for existing or new parts using CAD/CAM software

Perform data analysis

Assist in maintaining manufacturing equipment such as lathes, milling machines, etc

Set up tooling on CNC lathe/milling machines or other machining equipment as needed by supervisor (drills).
