There are several cnc jobs that are available in South Africa. One of them is the setter/operator at which a person sets up the machine and operator keeps it running to make sure it’s set properly and performs all the tasks required by their company
The second is a machinist who works on machines that perform cutting, drilling, threading, grinding and other similar tasks. They have to be able to read blueprints, 3D files and instructions to make sure they get the best out of their machine
A third type of cnc job is that of an operator who operates machines like lathes, milling machines, grinders etcetera. Their main job is to keep these machines running so that they can produce parts for different products
A fourth type of cnc position is that of a programmer who writes code for machines that perform tasks like cutting and engraving etcetera. They use a computer program which helps them write programs for these machines so that they can run smoothly without any glitches or problems occurring during operation or performance
