History of CN
1. Ancient times
People made stone tools using a hammer and anvil to shape rocks into blades and axes. The first cnc machine was designed by Nikola Tesla in 1890, who used it for cutting steel. He also designed the first AC motor, which was used for rotating the knife and cutting materials like wood and paper
2. Medieval Times
CNC machine was invented during medieval times, when people started using water powered machines to make wooden furniture, weapons and boats. These machines were very primitive in design as they were only able to move 1/50th of their own weight at a time. These machines were not able to cut metals or stone, but they did help in manufacturing weapons and items needed by people during that time period
3. Modern Times
In modern times, CNC machine has evolved a lot and it can now cut more than materials ranging from sheet metal to exotic metals like gold and silver as well as many other materials like plastics, wood etcetera. The most popular use of CNC machines today is in manufacturing parts for cars as they require precise cuts which can be done only by these machines!
