G0 - This code is used for starting the machine up after power-off or resetting the machine to its default position (i.e., Home)

G1 - This code is used to move the spindle toward one direction and then back again to its original position

G2 - This code is used to move the spindle toward one direction and then back again to its original position with increasing speed by stepping down each time you reach a certain point on your workpiece

G3 - This code is used to move the spindle toward one direction and then back again to its original position with decreasing speed by stepping up each time you reach a certain point on your workpiece

G4 - This code is used for moving along an axis without changing direction or speed (i.e., linear movement).
