But then, last year we decided to take the plunge and buy a CNC hard turning machine. It's not something that most people do because they're afraid of getting their hands dirty or they don't know how to use one. But we've taken the plunge and purchased this machine and now we're ready to show you what it can do
The first thing that happens when you get a CNC machine is that you have to get familiar with how it works. You'll learn how to program your own designs in G-Code and then move them into the computer via USB cable. You also need to purchase some software (like Repetier-Host) which will allow you to communicate with the machine from your computer screen or tablet device. Once you learn how all of these things work together, you'll be able to start building your own designs!
