If you're planning on installing an aftermarket turn signal knob on your vehicle, or if you're simply curious about what kind of knob you should get, then this article is for you. I'll go over how to tighten the knob and some tips from my experience with other enthusiasts who decided to install one themselves
The first thing that needs to be done is unplug your vehicle's turn signal wires. Make sure they aren't plugged into any other devices such as a cigarette lighter or a stereo system. Then pull out the plastic knob at the top of your steering wheel and unscrew it from its base. Some knobs may have multiple screws holding them in place〞this will depend on what kind of steering wheel hub you have installed in your vehicle〞so take note of which side is facing outward when screwing the knob back together. Once it's loose enough to spin around freely, remove it completely and set it aside somewhere safe until later
Next, take out one of your stock turn signals (it doesn't matter which one) along with its mounting bracket and unbend the tabs that hold it in place towards its base plate so they're pointing forward instead of downwards towards the floorboard (this step only applies
