The CNC bit is a very versatile tool that can be used to cut different types of metal materials. In this article, I'm going to show you three tips that can be used with the CNC bit for cutting brass material
Tip 1: Use Sandpaper on the Bi
When you are cutting brass with the CNC bit, you should use sandpaper on the bit. This will allow you to remove any burrs from your cut and make sure that it's smooth and clean. This is especially important when you are cutting through thicker brass materials because they can be pretty abrasive. You don't want to damage your bit by trying to get through too much at once
If you don't have sandpaper handy, then there are some alternative ways that you can get rid of burrs on your bit without having to take it apart or buy new bits. You could use an emery board or an aluminum foil with some water on it. However, these methods aren't as effective as using sandpaper because they won't remove all of the burrs from the surface area of your bit as easily as sandpaper will.
