I remember back in the early 80's when welding was king. You could weld anything by hand! No CNC, no robots. That all changed in the mid-90's when fully automated factories were invented (think: CNC). With robotically welded products, factories became much more efficient and cost effective due to reduced waste by elimination of human effort. But nowadays, I think we should go back to using human-powered mills (plastic reweld image) to reduce waste#
1. This way, you can have your scrap metal recycled into new plastic that can be used again and again
2. If you're not recycling your scrap metal into plastic, there is a chance it will be burned as fuel or dumped in landfills
3. When we use this method of recycling our plasticized scrap metal into new plastic, we are taking one less step away from the environment which means less pollution and less waste for us humans#
